Our healthcare MVP: current capabilities and next steps

We are developing a platform for patient and doctor management, appointments, authentication and notifications for hospitals and clinics in Cameroon.

Our backend MVP is undergoing testing with synthetic data, and we are seeking hospital and clinic pilot partners.

Bright Mind Tech operates under BMT COOPBOD, the registered organization behind our work. COOP-ALPHA is our separate agriculture initiative; its register activity is not healthcare adoption.

What is available to evaluate?

AreaCurrent stageWhat this means
Backend servicesDevelopment demoSeven containerized services have been deployed in a private AWS test environment. This is a scheduled demo, not a continuously available clinical service.
Patient and doctor managementBackend testingBackend modules are present. Patient provisioning was checked through synthetic registration; full clinical and staff workflows require further validation.
AppointmentsBackend testingAn appointment service is present. Complete scheduling and administrative scenarios remain part of planned testing.
Authentication and notificationsSynthetic workflow checkedRegistration, OTP verification, login and event-driven patient provisioning were checked. Test email is captured locally rather than sent to real patients.
Hospital and patient interfaceNot deployedA customer-facing hospital frontend has not yet been deployed. Website dashboard images illustrate a possible interface.
Profile-picture uploadIntegration outstandingScoped storage permissions have been checked. The application upload feature still needs integration.
Telemedicine, analytics and billingScope to discussThese are not demonstrated capabilities of the current backend demo. Any future scope, availability and delivery commitments must be agreed separately.
Production security and scaleFurther validation requiredProduction access controls, recovery, capacity and applicable data protection requirements must be assessed before real patient data is introduced.
Development evidence

A verified backend test snapshot

These checks were completed on 26 October 2026 in our private AWS development environment using synthetic data. They describe development work, not clinical outcomes or production certification.

479 automated tests passed

The Java backend build completed with zero test failures, errors or skipped tests.

Seven services checked

Health checks passed for the API gateway, authentication, patient, doctor, appointment, hospital and notification services.

Synthetic registration verified

Registration, locally captured OTP email, verification, login, authenticated profile access and event-driven patient provisioning were checked.

Scoped storage access checked

A dummy profile image was uploaded, read and deleted with task credentials. Access outside the permitted profile prefix was denied.

Backup restoration checked

A database backup was downloaded from private storage and restored into an isolated check database, including 37 tables.

Scheduled development demo

The test environment runs during scheduled sessions. A customer-facing hospital frontend is not yet deployed.

From development to a future pilot

  1. Develop the hospital frontend and connect it to the backend.
  2. Validate staff, appointment and clinical scenarios with synthetic data.
  3. Agree pilot scope, responsibilities, support and success measures with a facility.
  4. Assess production capacity, recovery, access controls and applicable data protection requirements before introducing patient information.

Our healthcare initiative is pre-launch. We are seeking pilot partners and are not reporting verified paying healthcare customers or completed healthcare pilots.

Healthcare building and dashboard visuals on this website are illustrations of product ideas, not images of BMT premises or screenshots of a deployed hospital interface.

Our healthcare initiative: a pre-launch MVP

Bright Mind Tech (BMT) is developing BMT Service Hub for hospitals and clinics in Cameroon. Our core modules cover patient management, doctor management, appointment scheduling, authentication, notifications. Features shown on this website describe our product direction; availability and readiness should be confirmed with our team. Product outcomes and compliance depend on evaluation and the deployment context.

Our healthcare platform is in MVP development before launch, preparing for testing and validation. We are not reporting verified paying healthcare customers or completed healthcare pilots. Our next step is to establish pilot partnerships with hospitals and clinics before commercial rollout.

Our technical foundation uses microservices, AWS cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automated deployment capabilities.
